San Francisco Groovesis a website dedicated to reviewing

the remaining record stores in San Francisco. Through these

reviews we get to archive this moment in time of what these

stores are like and who they cater too. Over time you have

seen record shops open and close, all for various reasons.

Even the most popular record stores are on the brink of

closing. This site was created to act like a digital garden that

can be tended over time to document San Francisco

records stores. As this is a very opinionated blog the colors

black and pink were chosen to reflect my own portfolio

website.The typeface used is to mirror the d.i.y. aspect of

punk culture. I hope to leave viewers with an appreciation

of the now because we don’t know what the future holds.
