Ty is a San Francisco-based graphic designer. Their work specializes in print and the creation of visual content for social media.

I grew up in southern California and had the opportunity to study design and advertising at the University of San Francisco. A lot of my personal work draws inspiration from the early 90s feminist punk/riot grrrl scene — a scene that has shaped my values. I feel that everyone should have the right to express themselves authentically and be seen as their full selves instead of conforming to oppressive societal standards. I hope to create work in line with this ideology. 

I specialize in print design and developing visual content for social media. I like to create pieces that will work on a variety of media platforms from printed posters to websites to animated gifs. As a designer, I strive to be versatile, so I have developed specialized skills in coding websites and linocut printing. I currently work as a Design Student Assistant in The University of San Francisco’s  Art and Architecture Department.
